The website can't show F1 TV video: F1 TV only plays inside its own website and apps. BoxThisLap Desktop runs on your own computer, so it can play F1 TV with your own F1 TV login, right next to the timing:

• The live broadcast, the F1 Live feed, the driver tracker and every onboard, in the Live video widget and the Streaming tab.
• Timing held back automatically to match the video, so nothing is spoiled.
• Car telemetry, the exact track map and battery estimates, from your F1 TV login.
• Rewind any moment of the live session, and every past session since 2018.

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), with Chrome or Edge (Edge comes with Windows). Video needs an F1 TV plan that includes live video (F1 TV Pro or Premium) in your country.

1. Run the downloaded BoxThisLap-Setup file. It installs for your Windows account only: no administrator rights needed.
2. Windows may say "Windows protected your PC": this free app doesn't have a Windows code-signing certificate yet (they cost money), so Windows doesn't know it. Click More info, then Run anyway. The SHA-256 under the download button lets you check the file you got is the one published here.
3. Open BoxThisLap from the Start menu or the desktop. It opens in its own window.
4. Sign in with F1 TV: ⚙ → Accounts → Sign in with F1 TV. A window opens on F1's own sign-in page; sign in there and BoxThisLap picks up the login by itself and closes the window. No bookmark, nothing to copy.

Updates install themselves: BoxThisLap downloads a new version in the background, checks that it really comes from BoxThisLap (every update is signed with BoxThisLap's own key, which the app carries; that's separate from the Windows certificate above), and switches to it the next time you open it. Uninstall from Windows Settings → Apps.

BoxThisLap Desktop talks to F1 and F1 TV directly from your computer. Your F1 TV login is kept on your computer only (in your Windows account's app data) and is never sent to this website or anyone else. The only things it asks this website for are new versions of BoxThisLap itself; feedback you choose to send also comes here.

BoxThisLap is a free, unofficial fan project, not associated with Formula 1 or F1 TV. You need your own F1 TV subscription; BoxThisLap doesn't provide or share any video.
